Business Analyst
As a modern in-house ICT service provider, we manage a mix of on-prem and cloud solutions to provide an efficient, enterprise-grade, secure and customized environment for all CMB Group users.
As the basis of the daily working environment, we use MS365. Alongside this, we have a number of ERP packages that are integrated with each other. As ERP systems, we use Oracle NetSuite, FIS Integrity and Veson IMOS supplemented by local development, among others.
As an all-round Business Analyst, we expect you to be able to work with users to map their processes in order to use this in the design of new applications.
You will join a team of about 15 people spread over (mainly) the Antwerp office and the UK office and report to Head of ICT & Projects. Your work location will be Antwerp.
Roles and responsibilities
- Working out business processes and requirements:
- You analyze processes and data and develop improvement initiatives;
- You work out the supporting business processes in a project implementation;
- You work out the requirements for the implementation or development of features in an application.
- Training users and support:
- You provide training to users;
- You elaborate documentation for training as supporting information to users and support.
- Testing:
- You set up test cycles when implementing a new application.
- You follow up the tests and also test yourself.
- You anchor changes in the CMB organization based on data and input from users in order to bring efficient and user-friendly end-to-end processes into the organization.
- You gain the necessary knowledge of the set-up of the ERP systems so that you can solve user support questions and follow up with the technical specialists.
- You think cross-functionally with the various departments involved to achieve the best results.
What do you bring?
- Master's degree level or equivalent through experience.
- You have 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst or project manager.
- You have a good knowledge of BPMN, analysis in the form of use cases depending on project to project, experience with Agile and Scrum is a plus.
- You are able to clearly describe the desired or already existing processes and are experienced in writing end-to-end tests.
- You make decisions based on factual information, in the absence of information you have sufficient insight to reach the right conclusions. You initiate targeted actions to implement these decisions. You are good at setting priorities.
- You like diving into the business logic.
- You have experience with deployments of new applications or upgrades.
- You are solution-oriented and have a can-do mentality.
- You are a negotiator who can quickly subvert conflicts.
- You are a team player, can work independently and enjoy taking responsibility and initiative.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
